Many of you have likely see this video already, but I found it so fascinating that I want to be sure you get a chance to see it. It’s called 500 Years of Female Portraits in Western Art, and put together by Philip Scott Johnson. Mesmerizing!

At some points it seems like this might be the same woman in all the portraits, showing and hiding her true self as she pleases. But isn’t that what we all do anyway?
