I had an amazing first week of working as a full time artist! It felt totally natural to do all those things during the day that I can usually only jam into lunch hours and after dinner work time. I even had time to research some new techniques and resources and in my digital travels I cam across this amazing video from my favorite animator Nick Park, the maker of the Wallace and Gromit series. (And yes, my loving dog Grommett that we lost last year was named after this animated film. He was my hero!)
The video below is from the Creature Comforts series where they interview people in documentary format then animate them as animals. It’s hilarious! Now sit back and enjoy seven minutes of fun in, What is Art?

I think they covered just about everything! We won’t have to have this discussion again (lol).

Giggle! I love this show – though I haven’t caught the American version yet. And I think Judy has a good point – they covered all the key points!

Hey Bridget — I’ve got the Creature Comforts America DVDs (which this clip is from) if you’d like to borrow them.
Two seasons of Creature Comforts UK are currently available; the US version — actually filmed in the UK, I believe — got cancelled before it had all aired. Luckily, the show went to DVD, so we get to see the unaired episodes after all.
Comparing the UK and US versions, there’s a lot more toilet humor coming from the US… And bickering marriages.
Well done animation, even so.
